The Vorarlberg state government has extended the aviation licence for heliskiing in Lech am Arlberg. This means that heliskiing flights can continue to be offered until May 2027 for the time being.
Destinations are the summit of the Mehlsack (2,652 m) and the Schneetäli (2,450 m), from where the long descents into the Zugertal begin. Heliski flights can only be booked through the ski schools on the Arlberg and the local ski guides.
