The ski technique camp brings together Alpine South Tyrolean lifestyle and perfect conditions. The slopes in Carezza Dolomites Ski Area are optimally prepared, so that we find ideal conditions early in winter to hone our skiing technique.

Our accommodation: Sporthotel Passo Carezza

The accommodation during the SKI PERFORMANCE CAMP in South Tyrol is the Sporthotel Passo Carezza. The house was opened in 2021 by ex-ski racer Florian Eisath and is entirely dedicated to sport. With 18 cosy rooms, a Blue SPA with two saunas, a Red Ski Room, a sports bar, co-working spaces, and a hearty athlete's breakfast, it's the perfect base for our camp. And the best part: the hotel is located directly on the ski slope 🙂

Thursday evening

Meeting point: 18:30 on Sporthotel Passo Carezza. Welcome and discussion of the programme for the following days. Afterwards, a joint dinner.

Included in the hotel price:

  • Blue SPA, adults only, with Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation area – open daily from 3 PM to 7 PM.
  • Bathrobe and bath slippers on request
  • Red Room: private storage locker, ski boot dryer with key

  • Breakfast with regional products: crusty bread from the local bakery, sausages from the local butcher, delicious grape-based dishes, local cheese specialities, delicious cakes, organic Caroma coffee, Pompadour speciality tea, fresh fruit, wholewheat products and organic muesli, vegan and vegetarian dishes as well as gluten- and lactose-free dishes available on request;
  • Dinner at the neighbouring restaurant included (salad buffet, choice of starter or main course, one dessert)
  • Co-working spaces with a view: video conferencing, smart working, and agile working
  • Cinema in the hotel

Participation requirements

The camp is aimed at good to very good skiers who want to take the next step in their technique.

You should already be able to carve (execute linked turns) on blue slopes and ski red and black slopes athletically. You are fit and keen to push your limits. Your stamina should be sufficient for 5-6 hours of skiing per day, including breaks.

If you're not yet confident when carving, we recommend the SKI PERFORMANCE CAMP in Sölden.

Equipment

  • Racecarver (12m-19m radius)
  • Suitable, sporty piste boot
  • Ski poles with pole length: height minus 62cm (or telescopic poles)

Insurance information

Insurance is NOT included in the tour price. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation and repatriation insurance as well as foreign travel health insurance. Membership as a Supporter of mountain rescue makes sense, as it covers rescue costs including helicopter rescue.

Specific Provisions Italy

In Italy, there are strict safety regulations for winter sports enthusiasts.

Proof of liability insuranceIn ski resorts, valid third-party liability insurance must be proven.

Mandatory helmet law for everyoneEveryone must wear a helmet when skiing, snowboarding and sledging.

Minimum number of participants

The trip is subject to a minimum number of participants. If this is not reached by 30 days before the start of the trip, the organiser may cancel the tour. In this case, we will endeavour to offer you a suitable alternative. You can find details in our terms and conditions of travel.

Programme changes

Weather and conditions may necessitate adjustments to the tour plan – such as changes to the route, area choice, or forgoing a summit. Our ski guides always do their best to implement the planned programme; however, your safety and a coherent mountain experience take precedence. Thank you for your understanding.

Payment modalities

After conclusion of the contract, a Deposit of 20 % of the travel price is due. The The balance must be paid no later than 20 days before the start of the holiday. In accordance with the Package Travel Act, payments must be made via a Security certificate covered. You can find more information in our travel conditions.

Mobility advice

This trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

  • Backpack with ski attachment option (approx. 20-30 litres), airbag backpack if available
  • Ski suitable for deep snow, at least 90-100 mm centre width
  • Binding with walking function and tensioning adhesive skins - This means we can also cover short climbs and reach the best descents.
  • Telescopic poles with large deep snow discs
  • Modern Avalanche transceiver (avalanche transceiver, 3-antenna device) with new batteries*
  • Avalanche probe and avalanche shovel (made of metal)*
  • Helmet 
  • Clothing suitable for the mountains, 1 litre of liquid, snack/cereal bar
