Experience heliskiing on the Arlberg like nowhere else - in one of the snowiest and most exclusive freeride areas in the Alps. Together with our state-certified guides, you will fly by helicopter to unspoilt slopes around Lech am Arlberg, where the finest powder snow and absolute seclusion await you.
Book heliskiing on the Arlberg
- Heliskiing on the Arlberg is only possible with a state-certified ski guide/mountain guide with a valid licence.
- Flights are booked via the ski guide and are only possible on the working day before the desired heliskiing date.
- You can find information on the current flight prices here at WUCHER HELICPOTER. Please note that the prices quoted are for the flight only and do not include the ski guide's fee.
- Flights may not be operated at weekends and on public holidays.
Please note: Heliskiing depends on numerous factors (snow conditions, weather, avalanche situation, etc.). It is therefore not possible to guarantee that the flight will take place at a specific time. Bookings for heliskiing can only be made short term possible!

Meeting point:: approx. 08.30 am at the departure airport Zürs Flexenpass-Straße
After a safety briefing and a discussion of the planned programme, we set off. The helicopter takes us to the summit of the Mehlsack (2,652 m) or to the Schneetäli (2,450 m), from where we enjoy breathtaking descents into the Zugertal valley. At the end of the descent, a cosy stop at Gasthaus Älple awaits us. We then set off on the 20-minute walk back to Zug. We spend the rest of the day freeriding in Lech - Zürs. The freeride day ends between 14:00 and 15:00.
The exact programme for the day depends on the snow, weather and avalanche conditions and the personal requirements of the participants.

Participation requirements
The minimum requirement for deep snow skiing is safe, parallel skiing in the open ski area and stamina for five to six hours of skiing with breaks. If you also want to get to know the more challenging routes on the Arlberg, you should have solid off-piste experience and be able to master ascents of 30 to 60 minutes.
Equipment list
- Backpack with ski attachment option (approx. 20-30 litres), airbag backpack if available
- Ski suitable for deep snow, at least 90-100 mm centre width
- Binding with walking function and tensioning adhesive skins - This means we can also cover short climbs and reach the best descents.
- Telescopic poles with large deep snow discs
- Modern Avalanche transceiver (avalanche transceiver, 3-antenna device) with new batteries*
- Avalanche probe and avalanche shovel (made of metal)*
- Helmet
- Clothing suitable for the mountains, 1 litre of liquid, snack/cereal bar
Also for freeride tours in glaciated areas:
- Climbing harness*
- 1x Safelock carabiner (or 2x screw carabiners)*
